The Ultimate Spring Break Staycation!

Spring break: The two weeks off from school that you build up to be the days of your life. Until you realize that your parents are still at work and you're not travelling to a beach destination. But don't fear Katie is here to lead you on the path of the ultimate staycation! I already wrote a blogpost about my ultimate feel good music that definitely will light up your spring break so make sure u check that out aswell!

My Spring Break Guide to fun!

- Have a Bonfire/ Campfire!
gather around the fire with your close friends and family. Make sure to bring snacks and drinks. I would suggest wearing layers because it definitely still cools down at night during spring!

-Have a Movie Night!
Whether you're by yourself or with friends cozying up on the couch with some popcorn and a good movie is always a good time. Two movies that I would recommend are Sing! and Ashby. They are too completely different movies but I love them both!

- Get up and Watch the Sunrise!
They may sound like a daunting task to wake up that early but it really is worth it. Cuddle up with and blanket and some hot cocoa. The world is extremely peaceful and calming this early in the morning!

-Take a Yoga Class!
You may not be going away for spring break but you gotta get that body ready for summer! Yoga is fun, relaxing, and a great way to firm up your body. It makes me feel so healthy and cleansed, I would definitely recommend it to anyone open to trying new things!

-Start a Blog!
When I first started this blog it was during the summer and I used it as a way to pass time when I had nothing to do. Now I look forward to writing in it and I find myself wishing I discovered blogging earlier. You don't have to worry about what your going to post because there is no pressure when it comes to blogs. Post what ever you want!

-Have a Picnic!
This is something I really want to do more of. I find it extremely fun to gather up my friends and met them in the park for a picnic.( heck you can even have one in your backyard!) I feel like we always have the best conversations. This spring break I am making it my goal to have more picnics!

-Go for a Hike!
I talked about hiking in my 10 Thing to do Everyday blogpost but I will elaborate more here. I love hiking because not only are you getting exercise but you can go with a friend and really make it worth your while. Being in nature is extremely peaceful and relaxing and I 100% recommend hiking to everyone!

-Have a Pamper Night!
Gather up your girls and slap on some ugly looking face masks. Pamper nights are times for you to unwind and relax. Relaxing is something we need more f during breaks because we never have enough time to when we are all at work or school! You can mix this night with your movie night and have the best night in!

Your hometown might seem boring but if you have an open mind and a willing friend there is always something you can do! Let me know if you are going to do any of these things during spring break and make sure to send me photos! Comment below what you are doing during spring break and you ultimate movie night movie suggestions!

Happy Thoughts!
